PROCESS
Source material
The NVD system operates starting from photographic images of real or hypothetical contexts.
The source material is not considered a background, but an operational surface.
Architectures are grafted, overlaid, or made to proliferate on these surfaces.
The intervention may occur in two or three dimensions.
Spatial coherence is not a requirement.
Digital construction
Structures are generated through volumetric digital models or two-dimensional compositions.
The models have no representational or constructive purpose.
Textures, patterns, and materials are selected and applied as perceptual intensification devices.
Material research does not aim at verisimilitude, but at visual saturation and loss of scale.
Image processing
The image is subjected to photographic alteration processes.
Aging, noise, compression, and contrast enhancement are expected effects.
Dramatic quality is not an objective, but a consequence.
Media interaction
Manual drawing and digital construction may coexist within the same output.
Techniques are not hierarchized.
One technique may conceal another.
The distinction between media is not always relevant nor recognizable.
Output
The result does not constitute a project, a vision, nor a proposal.
Images and Objects are operational residues of the process.
No interpretation is required.

COLLECTION
The NVD process has generated three material collections:
DENSITY | INSANITY, UNTITLED | LANDSCAPE, and 7_BILLION_CITY_MASTERPLAN.
Each collection constitutes a distinct operational field.
They do not illustrate a theme.
They record a condition.
The collections do not constitute projects.
They do not constitute visions.
They do not constitute proposals.
They are operational residues of the NVD process.
They require no interpretation.
They provide no explanation.
DENSITY | INSANITY
Global population growth produces continuous densification.
Housing demand accelerates the process.
High-density models, spontaneous urban formations, and continuous territorial expansion coexist.
The condition is global.
The project operates on limit territories.
These territories are residual, abandoned, functionless, or hostile.
The project tests the resistance of space to densification.
It questions the existence of density thresholds.
It assumes no resolution.
The images do not propose alternatives.
They register saturation, excess, and contradiction.
The work constitutes a visual critique of uncontrolled real estate development.
All outputs are generated through digital processes.
7_BILLION_CITY_MASTERPLAN
The global population exceeds seven billion.
Metropolises of over ten million inhabitants are recurrent.
New cities emerge without discontinuity.
The European urban field extends continuously.
Spontaneous growth infiltrates planned systems.
Residual voids are occupied.
Planning and chance coexist.
Rule and negation coexist.
Control and collapse coexist.
The project records these conditions.
It does not regulate them.
It does not resolve them.
UNTITLED | LANDSCAPE
The project was initiated in 2015.
Each unit is a square drawing.
Each drawing defines a framed view.
The views depict imaginary skylines, unreal urban geometries, and ambiguous territorial conditions.
The drawings are composed exclusively in black and white.
Patterns, grids, linear systems, hatches, shadows, and contours coexist.
Multiple layers overlap.
No hierarchy is applied.
Each drawing measures approximately 13 × 13 cm.
The drawings are intended to be assembled into nine framed boards.
Each board measures 50 × 50 cm.
The final configuration forms a 3 × 3 grid with a total dimension of 150 cm per side.
The project terminates only with the production of the final drawing.
Execution is spontaneous.
No correction is permitted.
Drawing is predominantly freehand.
Black ink pens of varying thickness are used.
OBJECTS
Objects are material outcomes of the NVD process.
They do not represent the system.
They are a consequence of it.
Each Object derives from images generated within the operational process.
The translation into physical form does not alter their status.
Objects exist as autonomous elements.
They are neither prototypes nor simulations.
They are produced through printing.
Technical and dimensional specifications are defined by the system.
Objects may be acquired.
Objects resulting from the process are available on Saatchi Art.
Their circulation does not imply interpretation, attribution of meaning, or symbolic value.
The act of acquisition does not conclude the process.
The process continues.
Material availability
Images presented in the Collections sections may generate physical Objects.
Objects are produced through printing from the outputs of the NVD process.
Their existence is subject to availability and to the operational time required by the system.
Not all images are immediately available.
Some Objects are generated upon request.
Production requires a variable time interval.
Time is part of the process.
Images shown on this page display examples of Objects already produced.
They do not constitute a catalogue.
